Ep. 81 Chaser – IPA’s with FAI PhD & Duke Ortho Professor Mike Reiman


In this episode, Jimmy chats with Mike Reiman (@MikeReiman) of Duke University about his book, teaching approaches, PhD, and more. Mike enjoys a 4-Foot Drop Pale Ale, and Jimmy enjoys an Easy IPA.


Mike Reiman, PT, DPT, OCS, SCS, ATC/L, FAAOMPT, CSCS is an Assistant Professor of Physical Therapy and the co-director of Duke University Medical Center’s Manual Therapy Fellowship Program. He has over 20 years of clinical experience assessing, rehabilitating, and training athletes, and has presented on orthopedic assessment and treatment methods both nationally and internationally. Mike is actively participating in research regarding various testing methods for orthopedic examination and intervention, as well as human performance. He has written 12 book chapters, more than 40 peer-reviewed articles, and his own book, Orthopedic Clinical Examination. He received his DPT from the MGH Institute of Health Professions, and is currently pursuing his PhD. Mike is also a Manual Therapy Fellow through AOOMPT, a US Weightlifting and Track Coach, and the Chair of the APTA Sports Section Hip SIG.
