In this episode, Jimmy interviews the masterminds behind PT Day of Service Josh D’Angelo and Efosa Guobadia. They discuss the success of this year’s PT Day of Service back in October and take the time to reflect on the first two years of PTDOS. Josh and Efosa express their gratitude for the support they have received and their excitement about the involvement that PT Day of Service has elicited. Bio: Josh D’Angelo, PT, DPT, OCS

Josh graduated with his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from George Washington University and completed his Bachelor in Science degree at the University of Michigan. He enjoys working with a diverse patient population and has treated everyone from professional athletes to adults with disabilities. Josh is certified in trigger point dry needling and is now pursuing his certification in functional manual therapy through the Institute of Physical Art. Outside of clinic, Josh is an adjunct faculty member in the Doctor of Physical Therapy program at George Washington University. He also loves to explore his passion for global service and has treated patients and taught clinicians in Central America and Asia. Josh has served in numerous national leadership positions and continues to be active in physical therapy advocacy through the American Physical Therapy Association.

Bio: Efosa Guobadia, PT, DPT

Efosa is the Founder of Physical Therapy Haven. He received his B.S. in Kinesiology from Umass-Amherst, and his Physical Therapy Doctorate from the University of Scranton. He is driven by his love for this profession which allows us to use our hands and words to help others.
